I have studied Food Science and Nutrition at Uppsala University, Sweden. My interest for nutrition and food dates back to my childhood and I can’t remember when it really sparked my interest since it’s always been a part of my life. I have had a bunch of food allergies and sensitivities throughout my life which made me crave for more information in the field naturally. I wanted to cure my allergies or find ways to alleviate the suffering they caused. This in turn made me always want to perfect recipes and alter normal recipes and turn them into allergy-friendly, from my teenage years and onwards. Today I would say the knowledge about allergy and insensitivity towards certain ingredients have increased a lot since I was a child. A lot can happen in just a decade or two in this industry so we need to always be up to date about what new scientific research there is out there so we don’t give old advice. I hope to provide a channel with this site where one can find recipes, advice and knowledge about different topics. Please reach out to me if you would like more personalised advice. My contact details can be found in the Contact section.
I have always been fascinated by the ancient traditions and teachings about Ayurveda, which is a system of medicine which has its origin in the Indian subcontinent. I’m about to undertake a course in Ayurveda to combine it with my studies in Nutrition to further my knowledge in Holistic Nutrition field. I am thrilled to share more on my site once I am more equipped. Stay tuned!
The world of Reiki is a magical world and it will pull you in more the more you try it. I first came across Reiki when a long-distance friend via a spiritual forum reached out to me and wanted to send me healing energy across space. I didn’t know anything about this back then and perhaps you don’t either so I will give you a short introduction. Reiki is Japanese and stands for rei (universal) and ki (chi – life force energy). The healing energy that someone who practices Reiki ignites in you is balancing your 7 chakras in your body. The chakras can be imbalanced due to a number of factors, and most of them causing both physical and emotional distress to the person. Reiki is another complement to traditional medicine and is considered alternative medicine and shouldn’t act as the sole source of medicine in case you’re dealing with anything serious. But it can help relief the symptoms and make you feel at peace both emotionally and mentally. There are hospitals around the world that provide the services of Reiki healing together with traditional medicine to relieve symptoms and make the patient feel better. The healing energy is transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient to start the emotional and physical healing.
My own personal experience with Reiki travels back to when I received distance healing for the first time 12 years ago. Since that day I knew that one day I wanted to be able to heal myself and others one day. I searched a long time to find my guru and teacher, someone I felt comfortable with and would speak the same spiritual language. When I was in Mumbai, India I continued my Reiki level I and II so that I am able to send Reiki energy to all my loved ones no matter the distance. If you’re interested in finding out more and want to try distance Reiki you can find my contact details in the Contact section, or reach out through my social media channels.
